Hang a nice long string of silk screened traditional Tibetan inspireed Windhorse (Lung-ta) prayer flags and let the prayers for compassion for ALL sentient beings spread to limitless bounds of infinite universes! You will receive a short, printed explanation of this symbolism with your set of flags.

Each flag measures about 12" x 8". I screen print them and stitch them onto a 18' nylon cord. I use continuous stitching with a back stitch at the beginning and end of each flag for extra strength.

The colors are in the traditional order of blue (blue fabric is a more turquoise/sky blue color as on left side of 4th thumbnail), white, red, green, and yellow (the 5 Dhyani Buddha families). I print on cotton/poly broadcloth using fabric inks that have been heat set. No problem with the colors running, although the flags and fabric will fade and fray in time if left outside, which is part of the charm of impermanence. I have 'special' ones I hang on 'special' days, like His Holiness Karmapa's birthday or on a day when a lama visits our dharma center. There there are other ones I leave out all the time forever and impermanently ever.
